I did not mean "amd64" is not mature. I meant that firefox, specifically,
should be provided as 32bit package. (And for more than then the reason of
maturity, as described above).
Users might have many reasons to install amd64 OS, but I doubt that
firefox is one of them. Moreover, firefox failing to work properly and
seamlessly on the platform is a reason for a user to look for
alternatives.
