Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

With the button "new tab" placed in the tools bar, select a text (which
indicates a link) and drag it to that button. Firefox will simply close.
That usually occurs when firefox is running for the first time in the
session. After the crash and re-opening firefox, drag and drop works
fine.
