Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: plasma-widget-network-manager

Kubuntu, Release: 9.10
plasma-widget-network-manager: 0.9~svn1029786+ag1-0ubuntu1

I configured a VPNC connection with network-manager. I use a wired
connection (eth0) as default. When you click on the menu item the
connection is built up and it is working, the log file /var/log/daemon
indicates no problem.

However the GUI doesn't reflect the change in the connection state. When
you click on the menu item a second time the connection is terminated
and buid up again. When you do a few double clicks the menu item may
change to "Aktivierung läuft" - in English "Connecting..." I guess.

The only way to terminate the VPNC connection is to disconnect from
eth0.
