Public bug reported:

It appears that beginning with neon-0.29.0 through 0.29.2, there was a
bug which caused a stall (hang until timeout) with IIS servers when
closing an SSL connection.

This problem appears to affect Karmic. I recently upgraded and now when
I perform the command

svn ls https://svnbridge.svn.codeplex.com/svn/

the command processes properly, but then stalls for about 120 seconds
after the output completes.

On my system:

jar...@livid:~$ dpkg --get-selections | grep neon
libneon26 install
libneon27 deinstall
libneon27-gnutls install

According to the release notes for neon 0.29.3, the problem is fixed.

In addition to seeing a fix for future releases, can you recommend a
workaround in the meantime to get a responsive svn client again?
