Crap... Provider changed mailserver setting form pop.***.nl to pop3.***.nl without notifying me....
So, problem solved... weird thing was....Evolution kept syncing mails from Linkedin (which were moved to a subfolder by a rule), but would not sync all other mails into the inbox and other subfolders. So...as far as i am concerned, this issue can be closed....
