i tried to run "tailf" a few times with few confiurations but each time i crash my machine intentionly the all the terminals go back to prompt and i see no evidance of the crash ... i'll give it sevral more tries tomorrow ... i'm going to sleep now. hopefully i'll send all the relevant Data you asked for tomorrow. thanks for your attention.
