For me this is a bug!
in Ubuntu Software Center, the description of Gxmms2 says "Read audio files",
and the description of its launcher is "Play music", so I expect it to be a
normal music player, that should be able to play music out-of-the-box.
I propose :
- either the above descriptions should be changed (mention that it is NOT a
music player, just an interface and that it requires advanced knowledge such as
terminal use), and in this case I don't understand why it is in the Software
Center.
- or let's make Gxmms2 able to play music out-of-the-box without any obscure
trick ! (i would prefer this one :)
