Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
My System is an Intel DG965OT with Core2Duo running new installed Feisty
herd5 which is up-to-date via aptitude using 2.6.20-9-generic
When I tried to run tvtime it complained about missing features of the
graphic card, so in the end I checked /etc/X11/xorg.conf and changed
Section "Device"
Identifier "Standardgrafikkarte"
Driver "vesa"
BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
EndSection
to
Section "Device"
Identifier "Standardgrafikkarte"
Driver "i810"
BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
EndSection
and rebooted the system. Needless to say tvtime is doing fine now. As
graphic drivers of Intel are (more or less) free I thought they would be
automatically activated?
greetings

(Sorry, as my mother tongue is German the identifier is in German as
well which means default graphic card).

- compiz so I won't check in near future.
