Public bug reported:
Tried Lucid live-cd daily build of 5.th mars 2010 on my Acer 5315
laptop.The cooling fan didn't start so after 10-15 min. the laptop
overheats and shut down.
I had this problem for a while but I don't know if it is an Ubuntu issue
or a Debian issue? Or is it a kernel issue that will affect every
distro??? For your information, I have tried Ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10, Linux
Mint 8 and Sidux 2009-4 without any luck.
Running Debian Lenny, Linux Mint 6 or Ubuntu 8.10 and it is working
fine.
