Software Centre
1) Ubuntu 9.10 karmic koala
2) software-center 1.0.3
3) Attempting to open the software center to view/install updates.
4) The following error message is displayed:
E: Type ‘n’ is not known on line 1 in source list
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-mozilla-daily-ppa-karmic.list
E: Unable to lock the list directory
Previously, I had added 'E: Type ‘/ubuntu-mozilla-daily-ppa-karmic.list'
to the list of software sources and attempted to install firefox 3.6. I
removed '‘/ubuntu-mozilla-daily-ppa-karmic.list' from the list of
software sources, however now I can not access the software center.
