As of the latest "fixes" release, this problem has morphed slightly.
Now every hour every front-end reports:

run-parts: /etc/cron.hourly/mythvideo exited with return code 1

The errors go to the jamu.log:

# tail -25 /var/log/mythtv/jamu.log

Do we really need jamu running on every front end? That seems like a whole
lotta duplication where every front-end is sharing the video location from the
backend.

I notice this bug has gone completely unacknowledged from anyone however
so continuing to post to it is likely just a waste of my time.
