It wasn't in the examples/ directory when I originally opened the bug, but it does seem to be there now (I'm using 1.4b-2). Personally, though, I think it would be even better if it were installed by default (i.e. into /usr/bin). It's a really handy tool and basically 'rounds out' autossh.
