I did remove the indicator applet from my custom account (a long time ago). I have a guest account setup for which I've not changed for quite a while. I'm pretty sure that the indicator applet is running in this account. I've attached a screenshot of the guest desktop. I just can't see the volume applet. Am I doing something wrong?
On another note, how can users like me be aware of changes like these. Is there some news blog or something I can follow to not be surprised by things like this? Also, if there is something wrong, could this bug remain open?
