By "print dialogue" I meant the dialogue you get when you go to
file/print. The problem is present in all applications, ones that use
the standard GTK print dialogue, like document viewer and gedit as well
as programs like openoffice.org

I have tried setting it as the default option, but that doesn't work
either. I have tried ever combination of on/off by default and on/off in
the dialogue too in case one of them is acting in reverse, but in all
cases it still comes out with page 1 first.
