** Description changed:

It has been reported that version 2.0.x of glusterfs max's out CPU (see
bug [1]). However, the use of 3.0.x fixes this issue as well as other
bugs, such as (taken from upstream release notes):

GlusterFS 2.0.x clients do not crash GlusterFS 3.0.2 servers
Metadata operations now succeed on an unlinked file
  GlusterFS 3.0.2 works on OpenSolaris
  Performance improvements in self heal

Due this is going to be a LTS release i think it's important to have
latest upstream release providing this fixes and performance
  improvements.
