Please do the following: Check whether everything prints OK, then do
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install foomatic-filters and check whether your printing still works. If not, attach an error_log as described on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems in the "CUPS error_log" section.
