Hi, as a touch over five months have passed since I reported this bug, I'm afraid I don't recall that much information, and no longer have backups from before the jaunty-to-karmic upgrade, so I cannot easily reproduce the issue.
I was wondering about installing a fresh jaunty in a virtual machine to see if i can reproduce the issue, except that I don't think kvm will work inside a VM at all. Perhaps someone else with a spare machine lying around could try installing jaunty and then attempting to reproduce the problem? -- All VMs fail to start after upgrading to Karmic from Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/473596 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
