Sorry for the late answer: my main computer crashed and I still don't
have recovered it.
You should mention in the changelog entry the Ubuntu changes that are
kept, not the Debian ones.
Anyway, I don't see the point of doing this merge for several reason:
- The Debian version does not bring anything
- This version is not in unstable anymore (Debian has righ now 1.1.12)
As it seems 1.1.12 is a bug fixing only release (see the spec file for
changelog), you may merge the 1.1.12-1, after checking it installs and
run in Ubuntu.
