I tried what you said.

The permission denied doesn't appear anymore, just the other messages.

"sudo apt-get install cairo-dock" says I already have the latest version
installed.

I've included an updated file of the command "cairo-dock" and I'm also
gonna add one for "cairo-dock -v".

I appreciate your help btw, but if this is a burden for you guys, I'll
just wait to see if the next version fixes the problem.
