I'm the user that Richard refers to, and I can confirm that this problem exists. I can also verify that the exact same scrips was working exactly as it should in Karmic.
Linux ubuntu 2.6.32-16-generic #24-Ubuntu SMP Sat Mar 6 12:32:35 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux Tho, we can't ignore the possibility of a change in libnotify, I'd like someone taking a look at that. The full script where the problem was found is added as an attachment. What we can do now is to wait for someone with deeper understanding of Python to confirm that dito isn't the case, and hopefully a dev/experienced libnotify guru can spot the problem for us. ** Attachment added: "The original scrip where the problem occured" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/40587645/alsavol.py ** Changed in: libnotify (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- regression: osd.update() is broken in pynotify https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/534522 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
