Public bug reported:

I'm assuming this is a problem with the kernels, but maybe not. It
doesn't appear to be an X problem because it doesn't fall back to shell.
It's an ATI graphics card, but I'm just getting a blinking cursor
immediately after selecting a kernel at boot. If I fall back to the
.32-13 kernel, everything works well. What sort of other information do
you need? I haven't done too much to the system, except I uninstalled
plymouth because of the "ENTER" bug. Otherwise, the boot stuff should
be stock Lucid with the latest updates as of about 40 minutes ago.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
