Can you do the following test:

You do not need to update foomatic-filters. Run the command

cancel -a

Then turn off and turn on the printer. Take an arbitrary PDF file,
convert it to PostScript with Poppler using

pdftops file.pdf

and print the resulting file unfiltered:

lpr -oraw file.ps

Does it print correctly or does it give the error page? If you have a
PDF file where you get the error page, attach this PDF file to this bug
report.

Try also a PDF file which you create with the following command:

PPD=/etc/cups/ppd/DCP-7025.ppd /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf 1 1 1 1
"PageSize=A4" /usr/share/system-config-printer/testpage-a4.ps >
testpage-a4.pdf

Does this file print?
