The coherent, convenient fix for this system is: Do Not Use Ubuntu ! It
doesn't support older hardware in any organized way (the kind most
people try linux on). So Windows wins on this system - it was made for
98SE and runs with XP fine with full memory... And ALL the hardware
works ! Imagine that ? Not if you try Ubuntu.
