Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: indicator-applet
I miss the old extra functions, like being able to change system volume
with the scroll wheel, and being able to Pause/Play Rhythmbox with a
middle click.
Before the indicator applet took over, many of the panel icons responded
to mouse-over (making popups), middle clicking, and scroll wheel
movement. Understandably, right-clicking has been changed to only apply
to the indicator-applet, so most of the menu options are now in the
left-click menus.
Solution: Make indicator icons respond to mouse-over, middle-click, and
scroll wheel during mouse-over as they did in Karmic.
