Hello,
I use ext2. I met the problem on all versions of alpha lucid. I switch off my
computer and when I the started:
"Your disk needs to be checked. Please wait -- this may a while... Checking
disk 1 of 1"
But it is always a failure:
"/ filesystem has errors [SIFM]"
And if I do not control:
"init: plymouth main process (240) Killed by SEGV SIGNAL"
I have to start a live-usb and launch control with gparted, is correct, I read
this:
e2fsck -f -y -v (i-noeud)
resize2fs
I check in terminal with fsck: "clean"
I started ubuntu, but black screen with the mouse.
I must start startx in tty2
If I a USB key when starting the computer, it crashes with this message:
sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through.
I have a problem very often, it seems that the check of ubuntu is useless.
If you like me fix this terrible problem.
I format and return in ubuntu 9.10.
