Reopening as libprobe-perl-perl is needed as a build-dependency for
libtest-script-perl (in main). libtest-script-perl is currently in
DEPWAIT on libprobe-perl-perl.

A newer libtest-script-perl (once the DEPWAIT is cleared) would allow at
least one *-perl package in universe to finally build (currently a
FTBFS) and unblock some other *-perl packages (currently in DEPWAIT on a
newer libtest-script-perl or in DEPWAIT on a package in DEPWAIT on
libtest-script-perl). Perhaps some more *-perl package could be finally
made to build (didn't check yet).

I don't know if it's a real problem, but there was no new upstream
release of libprobe-perl-perl since 2005 and only one upload of this
package (in 2008). But libprobe-perl-perl looks simple enough to not
need many upstream releases or uploads.
