Well, that's your problem. The "localhost (QEMU Usermode)" attempts to
run the VM with your user permissions, which do not have write access to
the /var/lib/libvirt/images directory.
You need to either continue using "localhost (QEMU)", which would be my
recommendation, or create your virtual machine in your home directory
someplace.
I'm closing this bug. Feel free to reopen it if you feel this is still
an issue.
