i noticed a few updates that were not going through... i selected udisks
package in synaptic, and got the related packages to update that way...
i dont know if these packages can effect the issue, but im unable to get
it to lock up since applying updates... i was able to trigger the issue
earlier by manipulating a window (fullscreen, maximizing and minimizing
a gnome-terminal window) however, for about an hour now ive been
sleeping, resuming and manipulating windows after applying those
updates, and it seems stable...
