Hi Luca, Thanks a lot for reporting this. We do care about translations, and we even have a separate project in Launchpad to handle translation bugs. If you are interested, I'd recommend you to read:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/ReportingBugs (or for more details) https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/HandlingBugs Proper localization is important, but it is up to the developers or the bug squad to assign the priorities for their projects. This particular issue, while it might not be optimal for translation in all languages (and as a translator I fully agree with you), the string is translatable and it is not as critical as e.g. an untranslated application. That's why I guess the priority has been set to low. I'm going to set it to Low as well for the ubuntu-translations project, since although I believe all l10n issues are important, we have more important ones right now, and we need to prioritise in what we focus. ** Changed in: ubuntu-translations Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: ubuntu-translations Importance: Undecided => Low -- "Add new" (combo) "account" labels are bad for localization https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/534667 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
