@Darren, the problem is that both the UI and non-UI packages are
important: they were split so that Kubuntu users wouldn't have to bring
in unnecessary gnome dependencies then installing the vpn plugins (they
were all split).

I agree, this should be done during the upgrade process, I'm looking at
how it could be done.
