Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: update-manager
update-manager correctly alert me when there are available updates.
I click on the alert icon , update-manager opens showing me available updates.
When I click on Update button, it request me for password, then reload
update-manager window but DO NOTHING.
I have to run : sudo apt-get upgrade. :-)
