There is a comment on https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26849
saying this will not be fixed soon. Apparently MSN have changed from a server based model to a peer-to-peer method of A/V communications and it involves a 'scarey' re-write of the code. This is a pity as I think A/V over MSN would add great credibility to Ubuntu. I know A/V can be done over Jabber and Skype, but if the people you talk to (like my wife's grandson in Australia) are only on MSN, it sort of locks you into Windows. Is there any resource in the Ubuntu community that can work on this? -- Video call to/from MS Messenger contact does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/519551 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
