this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work,
I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.
I am able to confirm this issue in Xubuntu 9.10 Terminal with tabs. I
could not hit the right spot, and the right-click menu never came up for
me. In Xubuntu 9.04, the right-click gives a menu with "Detach Tab" and
"Close Tab" in it.
