Bruce,
Your exception log is showing an error in your syncdaemon.conf .
Open the file with the following:
gedit ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf
it is showing this:
log_level = DEBUG\n
We want:
[__main__]
log_level = DEBUG
Unfortunately because of this error we didnt get any information about
your original problem. After correcting that if you would like, please
post your logs again and we can look at them.
