*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 58424 *** Dear Michael, Well I think that filing a bug report would be a problem at the time being because the box with the ubuntu install is now completely messed up. For some reason the x server got completely corrupted along with some boot files so now the ubuntu boot screen even looks different. When I am able to log in (command line) anything that I try do do using apt-get I get errors because of the open office packages. I can get by with command line to some extent but filing a bug report from that box is not going to be possible. If you would be gracious enough to advise me via e-mail I would be very much obliged. Thanks a lot.
