I have the same Problem on my karmic desktopPC with my network printers.
Acroread (9.3.1 02/04/2010) always crashes when I try to modify printer
settings. On my netbook with Intrepid the same acroread-version works
fine and I am able to change the printer settings.
I copied the working acroread installation and the .adobe directory from
my netbook to the desktop, but on the desktop even this version crashed
while changing the printer settings.
