Kopete starts because it was running when I shut the computer down (saved desktop session?). If Kopete isn't started, closed before logout, it works. KNetworkManager is run as it is default in Kubuntu Feisty, but it reports "disconnected" as always. I reported a bug on it also, but it seems it doesn't support static connections and it never will?
