Public bug reported:
After Plymouth's graphical boot, the computer ends up with a terminal
interface, and the X cursor. The X cursor is movable, the keyboard
accepts input, but if any key is pressed, characters such as diamonds,
^, \, and ? appear, instead of letters or numbers (I suppose the GDM
screen should appear instantly after plymouth bootup. However...).
Pressing Enter will clear the screen, play the 'Login screen Ready'
sound and GDM will appear normally after a few seconds. It's not much of
a big problem however, this happens almost every bootup, and isn't
contributing to the time it takes to log in.
Lucid Lynx Alpha 3, gdm 2.29.92-0ubuntu1, plymouth 0.8.0~-12
