Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: deluge

Deluge as a default install doesn't recommend or install deluged. It
does however offer localhost as a connection option in the deluged
connection manager window. I attempted to start the localhost, but it
silently fails. I then started it from command line, and saw the
following error:

[ERROR ] 21:54:00 client:551 Unable to start daemon!
[ERROR ] 21:54:00 client:552 [Errno 2] No such file or directory
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/deluge/ui/client.py", line 549, in
start_daemon
    subprocess.call(["deluged", "--port=%s" % port, "--config=%s" % config])
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/subprocess.py", line 480, in call
    return Popen(*popenargs, **kwargs).wait()
File "/usr/lib/python2.6/subprocess.py", line 633, in __init__
    errread, errwrite)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/subprocess.py", line 1139, in _execute_child
    raise child_exception
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

It would be handy to have either an error message display, or even
better, have deluge request to install deluged.
