Just a quick update on an extra test I did:

Different searches on the web had let me thought that this issue could be
processor's NX-ability related...
The point for me was that despite my own processor (Intel T1400) does support
NX, /proc/cpuinfo wasn't listing it as a processor feature.
Then I realised that this is only meaningful for either a 32bits pae kernel, or
a 64 bits one.

I've thereafter downloaded the AMD64 version of the live CD 10.04 beta3,
burned it and tested it:

same behaviour: first suspend allows a resume; the second suspend leads
to a machine freeze during the resume phase.

Is there anything more I can do that would help?

Cheers.

Gilles
