This was discussed with Dirk and Richard in PM (unfortunately). Summary: - Debian packages are in great shape
- Vincent Goulet and Michael Rutter build third-party packages for Ubuntu in http://cran.US.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu/ - We do not seem to have a permanent Ubuntu maintainer right now who has a look at them in Ubuntu? If you ask me, this seems a little too big a step for this LTS, but perhaps you can reorganize above third-party repo to maintain and test packages directly in Ubuntu, so that we can promote them for 10.10? Would that be acceptable, or do you despearately need this for 10.04? (It seems to be an optional build dep) -- MIR for r-base https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/497158 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
