change made into: /etc/pulse/system.pa .ifexists module-udev-detect.so load-module module-udev-detect .else
using udev instead of HAL make HDA Intel ALC882 (my sound hardware on board) be found and recognized into " system pref sound hardware tab" as "Internal Audio" as expected. (i.e. pulseaudio[1894]: module.c: module-detect is deprecated: Please use module-udev-detect instead of module-detect!) As Lucid have dropped HAL, i suppose it's time to remove HAL: on my system hal is installed but maybe a race between hal & udev exist. -- Pulseaudio is not running https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/519387 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
