This continues to be a sporadic issue. In some instances, my system or
my headphones enter a state such that the connection with my headphones
is not created. I've even had a total lock up of my n900 once when
trying to pair my headphones (they seem to behave similarly: mostly
work, but occasional issues). So it seems like its definitely an issue
upstream in the kernel since it seemingly affects other distros and even
architectures.
