This report still has some valid points. Although the 2.6.32 kernel now supports the serio force_release sysfs node, the users of the samsung p560 still have to insert which keys needs the forced key release. At the moment i do not know of any database which handels those cases, do you?
Furthermore, after the keys are working, there are no backlight changes within the nouveau or within the nvidia driver.
