Thank you for your bug.  However, some additional information would be useful:
At what point does X crash?  What happens before X crashes?  Can you tell if 
there is a trigger that makes X crash?

I notice that vga16fb loads early in your boot process, and claims the
first framebuffer.  This may be causing at least some of your problems.
It would be interesting to see if your still have problems without
vga16fb.  To do this, run

echo 'blacklist vga16fb' | sudo tee -a 
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer.conf
sudo update-initramfs -u

in a terminal, and then reboot.
