Pretty much. Network Manager shows the device and you can go through the motions of configuring parameters but the device is never connected successfully.
Configured manually, it works semi-reliably with the odd spurious disconnect, but I also forgot to mention that you have to blacklist rt73 and prism54usb also. It appears they share the same Vendor and Product Id. I submitted the bug for information purposes.
