Binary package hint: emacs23
reading manuals with info reader do not work on emacs23 works with
emacs22.
M-x info
go to a manual page that is compressed like the libc node.
I get this is the message buffer
Composing main Info directory...done
unzipping libc.info.gz...done
(gzip -c -q -d) libc.info.gz...
byte-code: Wrong type argument: characterp, "gzip"
This works fine in emacs22.
