Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mountall
Booting the normal lucid kernel works fine.
Booting a custom 2.6.34-rc1 kernel *intermittently* causes the following:
mountall:mountall.c:2726: Not reached assertion failed in boredom_timeout
General error mounting filesystems
and a maintenance shell is started.
The grub2 config entry is:
menuentry "custom" --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os {
recordfail
insmod ext2
set root='(hd0,1)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 94c74d05-ecc5-4749-b39b-072193707516
linux /bzImage-custom root=/dev/sda5 rootfstype=ext4 ro
crashkernel=384M-2G:64M,2G-:128M quiet splash
}
mountall is version 2.8
