I missed something previously on your frontend log:
2010-03-20 09:59:49.754 LookupUDN()- bad device type '', not enough tokens
Error in my_thread_global_end(): 1 threads didn't exit
The above makes me think that it is your frontend crashing, although I'm
not certain why (except for MythFlix). Having said that, your backend
log does have a troublesome entry:
2010-03-20 09:58:41.875 MythBackend, Error: No valid capture cards are defined
in the database.
Perhaps you should re-read the installation
instructions?
I'd suggest the following actions:
0. Re-run mythtv-setup that capture cards and inputs are assigned
1. After doing an apt-get update, if apt-get upgrade doesn't show anything,
perhaps do a dist-upgrade again, or do a apt-get install mythplugins just to
make sure
2. rotate your logs so that it's clear what the current errors are (especially
now that you removed mythflix) and reattach fresh logs to this ticket

According to a crashreport MythTV didn't shut down properly
