This seems to be a bug in the program not in X.  X is issuing an error
message back to the client:

        buf = "BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)", '\0'

You'll need to identify why the client is using an invalid window ID of
0.  My guess is some other call failed and the application simply failed
to check return values properly.
